1. Communication for social change

The visible weave

Reliable information, open conversations about rights, and the voices of women, young people, LGBTIQ+ communities and migrants across Central America and its diaspora. In the first half of 2026 these media and platforms reached more than 1.3 million people, mostly organically.

Digital magazine

Miradas Moradas

Central America's feminist digital magazine and the digital evolution of La Boletina, the publication Puntos de Encuentro placed in the hands of thousands of women in Nicaragua for almost three decades. Miradas Moradas was born as a meeting point for women from the movements and LBTIQ+ activists, and produces in-depth journalism —features, chronicles, profiles and analysis— even where reporting means protecting sources, testimonies and bylines. Its monthly newsletter Otras Miradas reaches readers across the region and the diaspora, and since 2026 the magazine can also be heard as a podcast.

Youth media

DKY Digital

Born as a radio program in Nicaragua —DKY FM, alongside the series Sexto Sentido and Contracorriente— it is now the multi-platform feminist outlet for adolescents and young people aged 15 to 35. It covers sexual and reproductive rights, gender equality, violence prevention, diversity, migration, mental health and youth participation, in short videos that start from real questions and verified evidence. Its audiences don't just watch: they ask, share experiences and confront disinformation from their own digital spaces.

Digital platform

Migrante App

A free Spanish-language app created for human rights defenders, communicators and local leaders who are forced to leave their country for security reasons, for their personal safety or because of their human rights work. It brings together verified news, plain-language country guides, a directory of support organizations and an AI assistant that answers in Spanish, so people decide with information rather than rumors. It asks for no unnecessary data and does not track location: security is part of the service. Available on Google Play and the App Store.

Regional network

Central American Network of Young Communicators

The loom where voices meet. The Network works at once as a school —feminist journalism, rights, digital security and ethical AI—, as a network of care for those who report in risky contexts, and as a regional early-warning system that detects in time what is happening in each country. It is the bet on the generational renewal of Central American feminist journalism and the methodological heart that feeds Miradas Moradas, DKY Digital and Migrante App.

2. Organizational strengthening and resilience

Strands that grow stronger

An ecosystem grows stronger when each organization develops its own capacity to hold, decide and transform, without depending on a few people or a single donor. We accompany organizations, communities, schools and men themselves in leadership, digital security and responsible AI, and in gender, generational, intersectional and care approaches.

Rights and participation

Democracy and Human Rights

Training and accompaniment so that organizations, communities and young leaders can defend human rights, strengthen democratic participation and sustain civic voice in adverse contexts across Central America. Rights-based training is woven into the regional programs; we accompany organizations working in restrictive environments, and protection criteria are built collectively with participants. Diálogo Ciudadano, our public-conversation series, is part of this story.

New · Scholarship call open

Digital Security

A program created in 2026 so that social organizations, young women and LGBTQ+ people can use technology safely and to their advantage. Four lines of work: digital protection for rights organizations, responsible governance of the data they hold, entrepreneurship with technology tools, and artificial intelligence in the service of their communities' development. Practical training, in Spanish, designed for small teams with limited resources.

Prevention in schools

My School, a Safe Place

Preventing violence and sexual abuse against children and adolescents in schools in Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala. It works with the whole school community —students, teachers, families and authorities— to recognize abuse, talk about it and ask for help, with training for teachers and families, audiovisual resources for the classroom and clear protection pathways.

Organizational change

Gender and Generational Approach (GenGen)

The GenGen process accompanies organizations in Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua working for the rights of children, adolescents and youth, to transform adult-centered practices and open real spaces for participation. It combines regional training gatherings with individualized accompaniment and contextualized plans for each organization.

Health and care

Women's integral health

Between 2023 and April 2026, the project Promoting Integral Health for Women brought together psychological care, mutual-aid groups, body therapy, community education and professional training in Nicaragua. Its external evaluation documented completed activities, exceeded coverage goals and the changes produced by sustained psychosocial support.

Masculinities

Masculinities that question machismo

Changing the stories we tell also changes the way we live. Training, public storytelling and audiovisual production so that men embrace care, question their privileges and build equal relationships free of violence. In 2025 the partnership with the Men's Story Project brought the Men's Stories Project to Guatemala and Costa Rica; its videos circulate on YouTube throughout 2026, building on the studies of masculinities and violence carried out with Promundo (now Equimundo).

3. Alliances and articulation

The knots that hold

No single thread holds a weave together. The work is built with feminist organizations, independent media, universities, collectives, networks of women defenders and international funds. Each alliance serves a purpose:

Some of our working alliances: the Men's Story Project, with whom we brought the Men's Stories Project to Guatemala and Costa Rica; Equimundo (formerly Promundo) and Centro Bartolomé de las Casas, our partners in the binational studies on masculinities and violence; and La Radio Tomada, home of the Miradas Moradas podcast.

The Foundation acts as a bridge between that ecosystem and philanthropy, academia and the Central American diaspora in the United States.

The digital manosphere

The first empirical study of this phenomenon in El Salvador and Honduras: drawing on a survey of 185 young men, it analyzes how misogynist and anti-rights discourses circulate on everyday platforms, embedded in videos, memes and self-improvement content.

Regional assessment

Youth, sexuality and disinformation

An assessment with 201 adolescents and young people from the five countries: nearly 80% had doubted contraception information on social media; 93.5% want reliable information through those same channels.

Evaluating to learn

The external evaluation of the women's health project documented completed activities, exceeded coverage goals and the changes produced by sustained psychosocial support. Evaluation is a practice of learning, transparency and shared responsibility.

Rooted in five countries, reaching across Latin America
