Governing data as a strategic asset
What information do we hold, what value and risk does it carry for the mission, and who is accountable for it? Tool: data governance matrix.
Call for scholarships · Regional workshop · Digital Security program
For boards and executive directors. Four online modules, in Spanish, to make strategic decisions about data, digital risk and the use of artificial intelligence. Caring for data is caring for people.
At a glance
Selected participants will be notified on November 12, 2026. No technical background required.
Why this workshop
NGOs safeguard testimonies, contacts, case records and information about staff, partners and donors. Losing access to an account, sharing a confidential file by mistake or responding to a spoofed payment request can expose people, disrupt operations and undermine the trust of donors and communities.
The workshop helps boards and directors set priorities, assign responsibilities, oversee teams and providers with better questions, and approve practices proportionate to their capacity. The focus is on decisions, not technical operations.
